Darkness Of Night
This side of the road, the one not
Walking through the branches,
seeing if he watches,
-- the dark side of my heart.
A life full of surprises and yet
No one happens,
To discover my true-self on this
Full of doubt, full of thoughts,
Never fading away from these
Of whether I stay or fade away.
Deeper and deeper drowning in
your eyes, but my self-hatred is no
The words spoken, spoken out of
a scream witnessed by your
Smiling because I was told, acting
if I were to hold
my unhappiness by my never-changing character.
A loneliness felt by day, and a life
killed by night
A night whom my anxiety desired
my withdrawal overnight.
A mystery they said…
Only few could understand it-- others blindsided by it.
Problems seemed meaningless along with the distance-- that I couldn’t fully conquer.
they didn’t approve of our passion, just like Romeo and Juliet, how could we end up here?
Waiting for your reply, Waiting for our encounter, Waiting for a mere sign
The walk was difficult to strive-- you should’ve noticed.
A secret was needed to succeed this destiny.
Missing each other was the highlight of our day
Risking my life for you is the best gift you could ever receive --sometimes it wasn’t enough, you never knew.
The rumors, rumors I heard in town-- quite the newspread on a saturday evening
you only wanted her for pure pleasure even money, they said.
Evading me every second of the say, was your task
Leaving me wondering was your delight
That man, once I loved, has become indeed a stranger-- that I couldn’t evade, nor contact
If I looked at you, eye to eye-- one more time, would you say the same….
Truest misery and torture was this, him hating me and I (myself), trying to love him again…
A mistery that we both feared--
one left and the other that tried…
Different colors, Different things May I wonder what this is?
That particular color reminded me of a person-- it had a meaning beneath the painting a freedom, worth mentioning since then
Sounds of a war, she was escaping from Big bruises in all her body No signals of other souls
Colors and Colors was all she could see-- Just figures and lines in the dead sea
Missing people all around the country Others-- hiding in their rooms Wishing for a miracle
Some lives lost-- became their hope to keep surviving it was all they had left
Miles and Miles away from home, never gave up on her feet --Where this could be her lead, to a greater place than home
Ending up in a small village called Nitzanei Sinai Fought like never before Ending everything here, now and then
Sarah was the name, identification ID all crocked and dirty-- of a little girl that had to become a warrior for her own salvation…
Night In Paris
Lovely night, champagne, roses and perfume to accompany me--
Lonely in this old train, no waiters, no people to witness my high-end dress
Bitter taste, distanced nature’s beauty Rapid movements on them Caught on guard
In search for Paris wonders and a man, that buys expensive wine for me to savour in his mid-class hotel
Waiting for a stop, to encounter thou I shall treat thee nicely in my mains, don’t worry
Walking through the trains hallways, Proceeding to go out-- jumping out like old movies
Streets call my name people recognize my face and love my voice
Both feet going faster till I find your face-- Desire for your touch, body and lips
Just— a small glimpse of thee Behind, pieces of brown hair and a 360 degrees turn, to glance at your freckled face
Closing the space between us, Eye to eye— just to ask
Will you buy me wine? He replied— “Yes, in this beautiful night in Paris”
