ONE NAIRA DREAM
A knock on heaven's door
Who'll hear me
So much pressure in this life of mine
I pray it doesnt tear me.
Rough thorny street
No choice but to roll clean
Bare feet-dead wallet
With just a Naira in my dream'.
Had to make a lane
-up the Gwoza hill
I need to make that peak
I hope the view'll be something chill.
My eyes on the sparrow
-hope to make it though I bleed
Time to brick tomorrow
Psalm 91 is my favourite creed.
So no matter how dark it get
Or how deep I fall
Am never out of the fight
'Till i win...and I'll.
No sky too high
No road too rough
No time to too hard
Another scar'll surely bless me.
I close my eyes and fade in my many thought
Like the thought of what tomorrow'll bring forth
Life is not sapphire but a harsh judge
Who's gavel bangs with alot of grudge.
Sometimes I get sloppy- stumbling on each step
And each time I dust myself- keeps going with my last breath.
There's always ups and down
There's always rise and fall
And when certain things hits me
I never forget to read between the lines.
God sometimes put the toughest battle
On his toughest soldier.
This black rain too'll pass
They always do.
Puff puff away
like a magic dragon
she volca a smoke
away it went with all her heartache
what a joyful kiss and a cuddling smootch,
a one never to resist
Then she wants another mould
to burn off all her green
Such a moment of endless ecstacy
she lit the world to flame
thats the peak of our game
I love my ganja queen
for she is my grass to grace
DREAMS OR NIGHTMARES
call me blessed
Give my dreams a chase
buckle tight my shoe lace
galloping and setting pace
bike on the clock to a new phase
Too many dreams unfold
I even gat some for sale
the former ones be getting old
some becoming nightmare'
Stay true to myself
dreams do come true
and when it dos-
It wil define who you are
Let the rising sun echo the
rising of a greater me(sun).
REALM OF GLORY
Watching how the sun rise
is a glory from the onset
Like rolling all of life's dice
and still hoping because we've breath.
Through our days of fleeting shadows
and the rains be falling piercing arrows
in His realm I always feel his hallow
with a hope to one day bird like a sparrow.
There's a need to stay strong and kicking
who knows what the tide'll be bringing
I'll be the hero of my own story
because I am in the realm of His Glory.
Life comes with many stages
So am just on the other page
With a heart made of solid gold
Sailing through hard tide
With a morah so bold.
I see a glimpse of hope
walking on tight rope'
Stay on my toes
And reach for the stars
And make them all fall down.
Rock solid with bricks
I survived thus far
Baba God nahim be my trick'.
So I have to triumph
I see the mountain top
-its not too far
Keep pushing with a heart of steel
Till we reach the top
You already know the drill.
Thank you Father for taking the wheel
And thank you all for making the journey
POT OF GOLD
Split seconds decision
The free-fall hitting every hell's hole
But in faith I keep' standing at each fall
With a cheerful spirit
Rolling the dice handed to me by time
With my gut full of fears
But still facing life on its own terms
Not to give up one bit
But hope to see that pot of gold
- at the end of the rainbow
So I will turn that tears to cheers.
Oh Lord! You promised to make Your strength perfect in my weakness
-in the Book of 2 Corinthians 12:9
So now I beg Thee for that Amazing Grace.
