Where?
​

​the unhurried entry o f the virus put me
in hurried  isolation.
The three-story structure had
many more stories inside.
The movers inside me laughed at a non-moving me
 
Caged on a single bed.
 
The clock ticked
as usual. My acidic tongue
waited for an audience.
There was none.
 
Above the bed, all
the gods of the world
overlooked with marvelous
smiles.
 
As I ate,
the penniless migrant walked
towards his home.
 

dispatched from the heart

​The fresh smile casting
 itself to
veil the assortment
of pains
and
nothingness.
 
unacceptable failures.
inspiring money.
awful jibes.
Cut off friendships.
Curtailed relationships.
A vulnerable heart.
 
Yet,
at times,
there’s delight
in a simple
stupid
smile.
 
 

Morning

​The empty plate complained before
the stomach.
 
Borderline  poverty
neglects  attention,
doesn’t it?
 
The divine neglected
too, swift for bigger causes
and men.
 
chirpy trees and books,
witnessed an
estranged mind.
 
Morning, I’d rather have the
evening.
