Lois Greene Stone, writer and poet, has been syndicated worldwide. Poetry and personal essays have been included in hard & softcover book anthologies. Collections of her personal items/ photos/ memorabilia are in major museums including twelve different divisions of The Smithsonian. The Smithsonian selected her photo to represent all teens from a specific decade. Autumn Captured Patch of pumpkins seemed too large as my son waddled through orange spheres. His sweater gathered flakes of fallen leaves. Propped atop, with tiny legs dangling, a print-photo was snapped. Giggling, grandson ran as if the area were a maze. He wore the saved cardigan. A ribbed autumn fruit held this seated child while a digital picture was processed. Great-grandson’s tiny sneakers squished moist grass as he patted pumpkins. Climbing, one, he smiled.
