ANGEL EDWARDS - POEMS

Angel Edwards from Vancouver BC is a member of SOCAN, BMI and VMA and she owns a small music publishing company.She currently performs as a solo acoustic electric singer songwriter guitarist.
Her poems are included in two international poetry anthologies "Mind Paintings" and "Between Earth and Sky" from Silver Bow Publishing and her poetry and stories have been published in dozens of literary magazines in several countries.
Her poem "Morning Flight" was published in The Long Islander Newspaper in "Walt's Corner" April 23 2015.

​November cool
silvered dawn
Awakes awaits winter's overture
sky morning palette
mauve beyond
November
 
December cold
ivoried sunset
Asleep astride symphony winter
Frozen white ground
 snow palette

​STARLIGHT HORSES

Starlight horses, breathing ,drinking, eating ,needing starlight
Gentle souls kindly wild never ridden                                                  
Their world lays secure and hidden
In the serene pastures of the starlit night
 
The russet horse is a bashful horse
But beneath his blush is a heart of gold
He loves his mate, the golden mare Medera
And their red colt named Jeannie Sarah
Purple Primrose is the singing horse
Major Blue is the ancient seer
Overseeing all and beyond
King Green horse retains the calm
With his dear Queen Green horse near
They gallop into the star starved dawn
