​I am simple country woman who loves nature.  i enjoy gardening, hiking, nature walks, the beach, and spending time with my fiance.  I love to write and hope evryone enjoys what I write.

At the beach
​

​A hot beautiful, sunny day,
Perfect for the beach,
I gather my things,
And walk there,
Hot when I arrive,
I find a spot,
And arrange my things,
Children play, laugh, and build sandcastles all around me,
People relax,
And there is a volleyball game going on,
I head to the water,
To cool off,
Into the clear, turquoise water I go,
It is so cool and refreshing,
Some people go by on jet skis in the distance,
A boat floats by on the horizon,
With people enjoying themselves,
Getting out,
I head for my towel,
Now time to relax,
 And read a book,
Since I am all cooled down.
 

Nature’s friends
​

​Sitting on the edge,
Of the blueberry field,
A chipmunk goes scurrying by,
Off in the distance,
I see,
A mother deer and her fawn,
Grazing on a bush,
Out of the corner of my eye,
I see a big brown squirrel,
Heading toward a blueberry bush,
Suddenly on the left of me,
I see about fifteen turkeys,
And a bunch of babies,
Heading into the field,
These are all so beautiful,
Nature’s friends.

Situation
​

​Each person,
Accepts a situation differently,
It is how your mind reacts,
That determines,
How long it will take to heal,
Some take years,
To adjust to what has happened,
Just to process,
Because the situation affected them so badly,
Others just take things in stride,
Letting the situation roll of their back,
It all depends on perspective,
And mentality,
It is all up to the mind.

Meeting each other
​

​Knowing they would be together,
Long talks, holding hands,
Nature walks,
Always learning about each other,
Until they knew everything about one another,
Same views,
Chemistry,
Together through all of college,
Graduation,
Gorgeous wedding,
Children,
Growing older,
Grandchildren,
Known from the start,
They would grow old together,
Til death do they part,
Seventy years of togetherness,
True love.

Dreams
​

​Dreams,
They do come true,
Follow them,
Be happy,
Love what you do,
Enjoy every day,
Only you can achieve them,
You know you can do it,
Be confident in yourself,
Go for it,
No dream is silly,
You know you can do it,
Follow your happiness,
Indulge in achieving your dreams,
Everyone has dreams,
Dreams do come true.

Rainbow
​

​The rain clouds floated away,
Revealing a bright sky,
Suddenly,
A bright artwork in the sky,
Crossing from one end of the sky to the horizon
shined across the sky,
No beginning,
No end,
To be found,
Vibrant reds, oranges, blues, yellows and purples across the sky,
Colors shining high,
Nature’s art show,
Beautiful,
Lasting only minutes,
Lucky to get a glimpse,
Slowly fading away,
Then the sun glows bright. 

Faith
​

​Her faith was fully devoted to God,
Getting her through anything lif could thro at her,
Her faith never faltered and she never doubted it,
It would never be lost,
Everyday she saw what faith brought to her life,
Contentment,
Happiness,
Joy,
Faith would get her through anything she faced,
It was the only thing she was sure of.

Moon Beaming
​

​The moon was full and high in the night sky,
Shining bright through the dark night,
The stars shown like never before,
A breeze washed over the field,
Moon standing high in all its natural glory,
Shining the most natural light of the night.

Driven
​

​Be the very best,
The most recognition,
The greatest office,
Her inner drive pushed her to keep succeeding,
Never stopped to have a family,
All about success,
Making her way to the top,
Running the show,
Achieving it all,
Driven to accomplish it all.
