This issue brought us a broad panel of stories and poems but also intense true stories and interesting essays. Scarlet Leaf Review is proud to host talented authors and we thank them for their contribution to our fame. Due to their talent, we have had 49,782 readers up to this very moment. But I am sure you want to see the winners - although, actually, all the authors are winners in the end. So here they are: POEMS NEIL SLEVIN 1997 READERS SHORT-STORIES WILLIAM QUINCY BELLE 1622 READERS "AN EXTRAORDINARY MEETING" ESSAYS RICK HARTWELL 1431 READERS "WRITING AT THE MUSEUM: CREATING A CLASS OF HUMANISTS IN AN ENVIRONMENT OF EXTENDED WRITING" NON-FICTION JOAN LINDSAY KERR 1487 READERS "LIBBY'S STORY" Please, join us in congratulating these fine writers that captured their audience with their words. Sometimes, words do seem more powerful than anything else. We are happy to have had the chance to read their work and to publish it. CONGRATULATIONS! YOU COULD DO MUCH MORE, THAT IS A CERTAINTY! Dear Readers,
Don't forget: at 4 a.m. the March issue of the review will be on line. The order of the pieces is randomly chosen by the computer (I don't even know how it will look like before 4 a.m.). To see the review, click on March page and choose one of the sub-pages for poems or stories or non-fiction or art. Keep in mind, on the right hand of each page, there are categories and you can choose from there. Have fun! Enjoy reading or admiring the art! |
