December 2020 issue of Scarlet Leaf Review is live!

Dear Readers and Writers,

Here is the December issue of Scarlet Leaf Review. It should have appeared in January, but I wanted to surprise you this year and give you a chance to read between the years.
It is not a big issue as the previous one. However, it is just as captivating as that one.
I will leave you to it and wish you a Happy New Year! May 2021 erase the gloom of 2020.

Dear Roxane --
I thought you would like to know that my long short story "Smoke," which you published in your previous issue, was today named a quarter-finalist in ScreenCraft's Cinematic Short Story Competition. I'll keep you posted if the piece progresses through the ranks.
Thanks, again, so much for having enough faith in the story to run it, and in so doing, give me enough faith to enter it in the competition.

Also sending my congratulations to you. Did you by any chance submit that story in the competition? How much is the reading fee, if any? If you can give me some other active competitions that I can enter for free, I'll probably submit "The Dinner Is Ruined" in the coming months. Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
