​                                                                            Who are you, what are you.
                                                                                     Do you have a name.
                                                                          Were you always late for supper.
                                                                               What’s your claim to fame?
 
                                                                              Who are you, what are you.
                                                                                      Why do you remain.  
                                                                      Were you always told to hold the door.
                                                                               Did you ever play the game?
 
                                                                             Who are you, what are you.
                                                                            Did you always miss the train.
                                                                           Were you always left for dead.
                                                                           Did you always take the blame?
 
                                                                             Who are you, what are you.
                                                                                Will you ever be the same.
                                                                  Were you always searching for rainbows.
                                                                        Were you always viewed with disdain?
 
                                                                             Who are you, what are you.
                                                                      Do you know from where you came.
                                                                        Were you always overwhelmed.
                                                              When you ran, did you always come up lame.
 
                                                                             Who are you, what are you.
                                                                               Did you always complain.
                                                                             Were you always stood up.
                                                             Were you always sure of yourself, or very vain.
 
                                                                              Who are you, what are you.
                                                                                  Were  you always plain.
                                                                    Did you always forget to tie your shoes.
                                                             Were you always told to come in from the rain.
 
                                                                               Who are you, what are you.
                                                                           You tried, yet you always failed.
                                                                                Time to end the madness.
                                                                                 Your ship has just sailed.
 

​Can’t You Hear Me Knock’in

​                                Here we go again.
                             Knock’in on Heaven’s Door.
                                  May have been here.
                                   Many times before.
 
                             Knock’in on Heaven’s Door.
                                 Will I ever be admitted.
                                 Misdeeds from the past.
                                  Will I ever be acquitted.  
 
                              The thought of remembering.
                               The memories of yesteryears.
                                Can’t you hear me knock’in.
                                 While I wipe away the tears.
 
                                   Do you hear me knock’in.
                                Have I forever been banished.
                                Not born with a Silver Spoon.
                            For this will I forever be punished.
 
                                   Time slowly disappearing.
                                         Revealing the fact.
                                    That it may soon be over.     
                              Definitely the Deck was Stacked.
 
                                   Close calls and near misses.
                                    Have always been the norm.
                                         Time is running out.
                                           Too late to reform.
 
                              The Door will always remain closed.
                                  Always been viewed as a Rebel.
                                    Time to pay for the misdeeds.
                       Guess I”LL BE DANCING WITH THE DEVIL.
 

​GRANT THE WISDOM

​                        Grant the wisdom.
              To avoid the misconceptions of life.
                          Enable to succeed.
                   Where others have failed.
 
                               Like a River.
                       Allow devotion to flow.
                            Offer the vision.
              To continue dedication to desires.
 
                      Whenever down and out.
                       Provide with a surrogate.
                  Continue to allow the wisdom.
                       To choose the right path.
 
                      The strength and courage.
                  To maintain a positive attitude.
                     The confidence to continue.
                       That allows us to blossom.
 
                        Guiding and comforting.
              To avoid the conflicts and tragedies.
                           Offering to brighten.
                     The dark passageways of life.
 
                           Seeking the guidance.
                                 From above.
                                Have no fear.
                          You’ll never be alone.
